Aar Maanta is preparing to release his debut single on 1st October, marking a new direction in the career of the multi-talented singer-songwriter. Aar, who lives in London, has the courage to speak out about issues impacting his people at a time when his country is experiencing heightened conflict.  

October 1st 2011 see's the release of Aar Maanta's debut single on Natural Essence Recordings and is taken from the successful debut album Hiddo & Dhaqan

Go’Doomay in its self is a political song disguised as a love song, and has multiple meanings, one of which is being separated from loved ones.  A feeling that was mirrored by Aar upon first coming to the UK upon fleeing the conflict in his native Somalia. 

Groove Centric Records Head Honcho DJ Caliber , who had a hit earlier on this year with Paris Cesvette and Nica Brooke, on Soul Heaven Records delivers the first of the two remixes. Groveland Records - Brazilian Soul Crew, responsible for remixing a number of artists around the world, takes care of the second remix on the single.
